Biographical Sketch

Dr. Rigelsky is the Director of Admissions and Student Services and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. A licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, her specialty is in the area of ambulatory care.

Dr. Rigelsky practices at Southeast Family Practice where she precepts pharmacy residents and students. Her faculty responsibilities include both the pharmacy and medical schools where she teaches Pharmacotherapeutics I, Pharmacotherapeutics II, Pharmacotherapeutics III, Pharmacotherapeutics IV, Pharmacotherapeutics Teaching Elective, and Effective Communication in Pharmacy Practice courses in the pharmacy school, and pharmacology in various disciplines for the medical school. She currently serves as a faculty advisor for the School of Pharmacy Student Ambassador Program and is an academic advisor for pharmacy students.

Dr. Rigelsky has published multiple articles as well as presented a continuing education program on diabetes to pharmacists and technicians.

Dr. Rigelsky is currently a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), American Associations of Colleges of Pharmacy (ACCP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and Northwestern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NWPSHP). She is also currently serving as secretary of NWPSHP.
